Introducing The Live True Project.

I am SO FRIGGIN' EXCITED to introduce The Live True Project! Many of you have supported and encouraged me in the 5 and a half years since I first began blogging.  I started "Living Truthfully" as a way to share my journey as an actress in Hollywood with other people.  I wanted other actors to learn the things that I wish somebody had told me when I first started, and I wanted THEIR friends and loved ones to understand what they were going through so they'd know how to help/ support them.

I also wanted my family to what I was doing with my time when I wasn't on TV (the answer? "Working at getting work!")

Over time, I found myself talking less about acting specifically, and more about life and the importance of being led by your passions.  Sometimes my blog felt a little schizoid, and suffered from an identity crisis ("Okay, WHAT is this blog about??")  - that's when I knew it was time to move in a different direction altogether.  That direction has led me here: to "The Live True Project."

In a nutshell - whatever you do, whomever you are, you were given certain gifts that serve as clues to what the world needs from you.  We make it tougher than it's supposed to be with all of our "shoulds," but the truth is - you already have everything you need in order to do what you were created to do.  The world, the media, your spouse, your parents may tell you otherwise, but when they do, you just send them here and let me handle them, okay?

Equally True:  Our gifts are not for us- they are actually for others.  If you don't share your gifts with the world, the world won't receive them.  (Not in the way that YOU are meant to share them.)  And somebody needs what you have, or it wouldn't have been given to you in the first place.

Deep down, you know that already, don't you?  Yeah.

So let's get to it, then.

I'm so glad that you're here.  Thank you for accompanying me on this journey.

It's time to build an empire.
