I've been working on the BET Honors award show since right before Christmas. Working production, auditioning, shooting, and doing VO work all at once means that my bills can get paid. It also means that I'm exhausted.
The award show taped in DC on Saturday evening, and due to travel delays, I got home late Sunday night. Today is Monday, and I'm putting out small fires associated with the show (normal for any production), and I've just received a same-day audition for the producers of a hit tv comedy, so I am about to go learn my lines and work on the scene.
Oh, and I have HUGE suitcases under my eyes, and my voice sounds like I ate rocks for breakfast. But the show must go on.
This is how it goes sometimes, and all I can do is do my work and hold on to the handlebars.
Life is something, isn't it? lol
