When I got to the State Farm audition (remember, I was supposed to be dressed like a cop). I had on a black suit and a white shirt to suggest "authority figure." When I got there, there was a woman with navy slacks & a blue shirt (looked like a bus driver), in walked another woman with a Michael Jackson-type jacket (with all the stripes, epaulets, and sewn-on badges). THEN in walked a woman who had a navy shirt & slacks, a badge, clunky lace-up shoes, a gun belt (no gun) and I was like "DANG, where'd she get all that??" Then the casting assistant came and asked if any of us were really police officers, and guess what?? She was!
My audition went well, but I wished her luck as I left. Que será, será.
