Audition tomorrow...

for a play: "Diary of a Catholic School Dropout" Written & Directed by Layon Gray.

Today I dropped off my headshot & resume to Angel Rivera @ SAG for the ABC Diversity Showcase. Hopefully I'll get an audition. I am going to learn a new monologue just in case. I need a fresh one anyway.

I cut my hair today. It's pretty darn short. I do this a couple of times a year. People don't generally like it too much, but I don't ever see any of those people around when it's time to do my hair, so...

anyway, I like to feel the wind & sun on my scalp. And when my hair is short, I can wear hats. They fit better. An ex-boyfriend thought I was nuts when i said that. He said "let me get this straight, you cut your hair so you can wear a hat?"

The bad thing is that my skin broke out really badly, like I'm having an allergic reaction to something. I have no idea what. So now I'm bald-headed with bad skin. Not a good look, let me tell ya. Shania Twain has a song called "Up" and in it she sings "Even my skin is actin' weird, I wish that I could grow a beard, so I could cover all the spots, not play connect the dots, sometimes I wanna disappear." I don't want to disappear, but I need to get my health insurance so I can go to the dermatologist. I've had it with this finicky skin of mine. I took a picture and sent it to my mother and she can't believe how bad it looks. I'm considering posting the picture here, but that might fit into the "oversharing" category.

Since I'm working the 9-5 for the next 5 weeks, I may have Mobile Mailbox do my drops. Not sure. I have some lined up for this week...we'll se how it goes.

Okay, goodnight.
