The Black Movie Awards taped yesterday, so I slept in until 10AM, then ran some errands before I went to an audition for a TBS promo. It seemed like it went well. One AWFUL thing—I thought I turned my phone off, but apparently I had turned it back ON, and yes, it rang during the audition. There were a bunch of us in the room at the same time, and I started to just act like it must be someone else’s phone, but I ‘fessed up, apologized, turned it off, and got back to the business at hand. Ugh. Very unprofessional, but it was a mistake.
Tomorrow I have an audition for a Verizon training video.
I’ll write more once I get my life back together. Production week always keeps me working around the clock, and I have to put things back in order after it’s over.
I will be going to a screening of Tsotsi tomorrow night. Haven’t seen it yet, and I’m excited. The lead, Presley Chweneyagae, will be there for a Q & A.
