Happy Independence Day!!

Okay, so I'm a day late, but it's the thought that counts!

Yesterday I went to watch NASCAR races at Irwindale Speedway. It reminded me of time spent living in Iowa. I even wore my straw hat (really)! Fun times, but I could have done without watching a jet-fueled exhibition truck drive around the track spurting flames. It was a real crowd-pleaser but I couldn't get with it. Maybe it's a cultural thing? You know, maybe if there was a HUGE speaker in the trunk and 24-inch chrome wheels on it...

Moving right along...

I had THOUGHT I was going to be able to tell y'all that I'm going to be back on "Boston Legal", but not yet. I was put on avail from 6/28-7/9, but seeing that it's 7/5 and I haven't heard a peep, I guess it's not to be YET!

I have something else in the works that I can't reveal just yet. Give me a week.

Basically I'm in career & life maintenance mode--making sure my life is balanced, and that I have all of the tools that I need in order to advance my career. I broke out in a horrible case of hives on Sunday (I think I might be allergic to Excedrin) and I was an ugly, itchy, miserable mess. Thank God they went away or I'd either have to limit my career to horror movies or find another profession.

I'm cleaning house, writing letters, sorting through junk mail, doing laundry, marketing myself to casting directors, making phone calls, going to the gym, trying to eat healthier, stay in touch with family, stay in touch with friends, duplicate headshots, manage my representation, audition (slow right now), etc. Oh yeah, and watching Wimbledon. Gotta love Venus & Serena.

Alright, I'm just rambling now, so I'll be back when I actually have something to say.
