Okay, it's 2008 and I'm back in the saddle. My audition went well yesterday. I was paired with another actress, we were given some instruction, ran the scene once then switched roles and ran it again. Can you say ROCKED IT! A January booking (or more than one) would be a great way to start the new year. I don't know when callbacks are, but I'm waiting for my call.
I'm also working in production on the 39th NAACP Image Awards again this year.
Currently waiting for my voiceover demo to be "sweetened". Can't wait to hear it and post it.
I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I sent postcards to the commercial casting directors. Can't send 'em to the theatrical people b/c they are not working right now (due to the WGA strike).
Gotta make lots of things happen in 2008.
I've been doing (on the average) pretty well with stress management lately. I'm not up working all night, I get exercise, and I've been watching what I eat. I do feel better. Gotta stay on the horse.
