I want a "do-over" for today...

The day started out with such promise. I had my LIST, for goodness sake!! The almighty "to do" list!! I got up early, did some work for the Black Movie Awards, ate breakfast, thought about working out (wasn't on the list though, so...), and left home to do 5 drops (4 of which were in the same building). It took me FOREVER to find the address. Not because of my propensity for getting lost (which is usually the problem), but because the building just didn't seem to be where it should have been! After driving around in circles for about 20 minutes, I thought to look behind one of the buildings and, lo and behold, ANOTHER building! I went in and couldn't find the suites I was looking for. A woman walked in and I asked her--she told me, go outside, and there's another building behind the one I was in!! I went into THAT building and still couldn't find the suites. I got back into my hot car frustrated and didn't feel like doing the other drop. I looked at the clock and it looked like I had time to make it to the post office and buy postcard stamps before my On-Camera class, but I was hungry, so I stopped at Jamba Juice. By the time I got out of there, I didn't have time to go to the post office, so I went straight to class.

Class was great, I learned a lot. I got 3 phone calls regarding the Black Movie Awards while I was in class, so I sat in my car and returned them, then looked at my clock--just enough time to get to the post office. I got there with 10 minutes to spare, parked my car, and hopped out happily. I got to the door and there had to be about 40 people in line. No way. I dropped off my Netflix envelope and left. I'll buy postage tomorrow.

I went to the grocery store, came home, cooked dinner, and started working on BMA stuff again. I was so unproductive today, *sigh*. It wasn't for lack of effort, but time is money, and I didn't get any of my pictures or postcards out today.

Gonna get to bed early so I can hit the ground running tomorrow.
