well, I WAS on avail for "Nip/Tuck", but then I got "unpinned" (as my manager so diplomatically put it). I was/am a little bummed about it, but that's the business. "They went another way" was the explanation, lol (obviously). Well, the bright side is that it took me 2 years to get into that casting office, and this is what happened on the first try with them. So hopefully I've made some new fans in that office. My job now is to make sure they don't forget about me and to deliver the goods when they call me in again.
My mother came to visit me for a week--it was great. We decoratedmy apartment, ate, shopped, ate, went to tapings of "Dr. Phil" & "Girlfriends", and ate some more, lol. She went back home tired but I think it was a good tired. I think. ;o) I'll post pix later.
Just got a call from my manager--audition for "The Shield" today. I've been in to see them a bunch of times now. The bright side (there's always a silver lining) is that they keep calling me, so I must be doing something right.
I will also be taking a voiceover class. Details on that later as well. Gotta go get a smog check and study my script. Gotta get these two lines right. ;o)
